is an equestrian jumping competition and also the largest international event riding organized in recent years in Romania. The competition will take place from 13 - 17 and 20 - 24 September on Herneacova Domain, Timiș County.
At first contest edition HERNEACOVA INTERNATIONAL JUMPING will be present over 400 horses from Europe. The most awarded horses and jokeys come from Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Serbia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Cyprus, Romania. The prizes are over 240,000 euros and three points in international standings.
Discipline obstacles is one of the three Olympic equestrian disciplines. It involves making a route of obstacles in a predetermined order. There is a distinction between stationary, oxere or triple, riviere and natural obstacles. The most common type of scale is A scale at the stopwatch: The rider who recorded the lowest number of penalties awarded for knocked down obstacles, refusals or exceed of the allotted time, and achieve the best time, wins the trial. In competitions with C scale, penalty points are converted into seconds. The rider who has achieved the lowest time wins. Currently, this discipline enjoys a high popularity, especially in Europe and North America. In Romania, the discipline of jumping is the most popular equestrian discipline followed closely by Eventing and dressage.
For organizing this great contest Herneacova Doamin has been completely reconfigured. There have built modern facilities for haul truck camping, equipped with all facilities, stables, access roads and three Riding golf:
- -Competition arena, with dimensions of 100/60 m
- -Pre-heating course, with dimensions of 60/40 m
- -Heating course, with dimensions of 60/30 m
